AAIMS Hockey
Our Boys Hockey team headed to North Harbour to compete in the Auckland Champs 7-a-side tournament.
The team kicked off the day in pool play, starting with a draw against Pukekohe Intermediate before securing wins over Huapai School and Liston College. This put Howick tied for 1st place on points with Pukekohe Intermediate. Although Pukekohe took first place on goal difference, Howick's second-place finish successfully earned them a spot in the Top 4 and advanced them to the Semi-Finals against Kings School.
Following a tough loss in the Semi-Final, the boys moved into the 3rd/4th playoff for a rematch against Pukekohe. After a valiant effort, the team secured a fantastic fourth place overall.
Throughout the tournament, the boys played with incredible passion and dedication, representing Howick Intermediate with true pride.
