Since stepping into the role of Principal in 2019, it has been my absolute privilege to lead the vibrant learning community at Howick Intermediate. My core educational philosophy is centered on providing a truly well-rounded experience. One where high academic standards are balanced with rich opportunities in sports, the arts, culture, and leadership.

It was such a good time being a member of Howick Intermediate School. My name is Fearne, I am from Taiwan, and I joined the school in the whole term 2. I felt so happy and made a bunch of friends in my class. They are so friendly and full of hospitality. I love my class teacher so much as well. She’s so nice that I love to have a chat with her. She holds a writing competition in class, each of us has limited time to create and finish first paragraph, and then the best one will be chosen and put on our screens. It keeps going and going to build next paragraphs. That’s so exciting and insane! All of us are busy to work our best. Luckily, my third paragraph is chosen by other classmates. That really encourages me so much, so I have a big motivation to keep working my writing. In addition, science class is so fun. I still remembered that I use a microscope to observe germs on my hands. Another one is I use white glue to create my own slimes. By the way, the playground is amazing, I love it.
