N3 Biography project
The five famous figures of New Zealand history, Sir Apirana Ngata, Jean Batten, Edmund Hillary, Katherine Mansfield and Dame Whina Cooper, were showcased in the students biographies.
Our N3 students, focused on these five people to create their biographies, as a part of their writing purpose; to inform.
Their goal was to gather data and research about these people, then to organise information to clearly indicate their “show don’t tell” skills.
In the end, they wrote, printed and crafted outstanding presentations showcasing their biographies in a creative way.
