AIMS Games
It has been an amazing week of sport at the AIMS games in Tauranga.
Over 60 of our students were in Tauranga, representing Howick Intermediate at the 2025 AIMS Games Competition.
The school entered teams for mixed hockey, girls netball, mixed rip rugby, Girls futsal and Boys futsal. There were also students taking part in individual events for rhythmic gymnastics, trampoline, gymnastics, orienteering, badminton, squash, canoe racing and cross country. The students were very enthusiastic and had some great wins.
Congratulations to Mandy B. who placed 1st in the Open Novice Freehand and Esther T. who placed 3rd Open Novice Ball in rhythmic gymnastics
All the competitors put in a great effort and our school is proud of them.
Thank you to the managers and coaches who invested so much time into preparing and supporting the athletes. It was wonderful to have so many parent supporters who traveled to Tauranga to cheer on our sporting stars. The week was enjoyed by all. .
